What you can and cannot do with downloaded files:

MP3s
You may:
– Use MP3s on personal digital devices
– Use MP3s for teaching purposes at a local congregation or singing event, provided the MP3 is not distributed to others for continued personal use
– Use MP3s for background music on pre-worship streams, provided the files are not distributed
You may not:
– Edit or alter the MP3s in any way
– Distribute the MP3s to other individuals or congregations
– Upload the MP3s to online platforms–including, but not limited to: YouTube, social media, streaming services, personal websites, or public-facing church websites

PDFs
You may:
– Use PDFs on personal digital devices
– Print PDFs in a local hymn supplement, limited to one congregation
– Print PDFs for one-time use at gatherings such as weddings and funerals, provided the copies are disposed of after the event
You may not:
– Edit or alter the PDFs in any way, with the exception of adding a number for use in a supplement. Metadata (author and copyright information) must never be removed or edited, except to add “used by permission.”
– Distribute the PDFs to other individuals or congregations
– Upload the PDFs to online platforms–including, but not limited to: YouTube, social media, personal websites, or public-facing church websites
– Add CCLI information. CCLI licenses do not apply to these hymns.

PPT Slides
You may:
– Use PPT slides on personal digital devices
– Display PPT slides at a worship service, limited to one congregation
– Display PPT slides for one-time use at gatherings such as weddings and funerals, provided the files are not distributed
– Display PPT slides for online worship streaming, provided the files are not distributed
You may not:
– Edit or alter the PPT slides in any way, with the exception of adding a number for use in a projected supplement. Metadata (author and copyright information) must never be removed or edited, except to add “used by permission”
– Distribute the PPT slides to other individuals or congregations
– Upload the PPTs to online platforms–including, but not limited to: YouTube, social media, personal websites, or public-facing church websites
– Add CCLI information. CCLI licenses do not apply to these hymns.
